Same synth, different sound?

Hey,

Enjoying SunVox a lot so far, great balance of synth, sequencer and tracker.

I am looking at a few samples to get a feel for how to put together nice effects and there's a good one (named Eerie Pad) I wanted to play with from hseiken's 03dnb in this thread viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1205 ...

So I created the same instruments, same properties, same controls, same filters and got a different sound. Here are two files, 1 has hseiken's original "Eerie Pad" and 2 has my attempt at replicating it. I guess there is something fundamental I am missing...
