The gamepad/keypad combination controllers linked here look very interesting for use with sunvox on a small screen.
Has anyone tried any of these?
Can anyone confirm if its possible to use the (typing) keypad and d-pad (for navigation) in android sunvox?
Some of them look like they have all the 'F' keys, shift, alt and everything that would make all the sunvox keyboard shortcuts possible.

Anyone tried these gamepad+keypad combo controllers with sunvox?

Hi, yesterday ordered one of these, the second one you listed on ebay. So will be trying it out, looks like a fun way to control things. Hoping it plays nice with a Raspberry Pi

awesome. Would it be alright to write if it works or not once you've tried it?
I might be getting a new phone soon so im interested to see how those bluetooth controllers work with sunvox on a small screen...might be even better than just using touchscreen on its own.
If it works over bluetooth with rasberry pi, should be no problem over bluetooth on android.
I wonder if all those keyboard shortcuts are doable?

Oh for sure! Will report back, just got the shipping notice today.
I think that the wireless system is not BT but a proprietary 2.4 GHz system (comes with a special dongle so you will have to have a standard USB A socket on the device). I have been using a somewhat similar full sized wireless KB/mouse set (Logitech I think) but only on an XP box for quite awhile. With it, the KB/Mouse show up as generic USB KB/mouse combo, even in BIOS. So with this I never setup Bluetooth, 100% Plug & Play. Hoping the palm top KB/touchpad does the same.
What really looks good to me is the Touchpad. The cost of a LCD/TP screen for a R Pi seems high to me and if this unit fits the bill, I'll be very happy with this unit and a ~7" LCD screen So we shall see...

Yeah, i have an iPad knockoff Bluetooth kbd for my phone and with sunvox the F keys are an issue. I have to hold down the blue function key to use them and mostly i forget and it sends me back to the home screen or blanks my volume or something. Some of them look like they have all the 'F' keys, shift, alt and everything that would make all the sunvox keyboard shortcuts possible.
a Bluetooth microsoft mouse comes in handy tho, you can easily use both even on an old ratty android cell.
Re: Anyone tried these gamepad+keypad combo controllers with sunvox?
So the pad arrived a couple day ago. Liking it; good feel to the keys and comfortable in the hands. Need to get used to the touch pad, same feel as a laptop and have to rethink some actions that are common with a mouse. I miss the scroll wheel but there is a D pad that works well and sometimes I double tap on the TP by accident. On either side of the TP are Mouse buttons, also a set of buttons to the left of the keyboard. Haven't decided which set of Mouse buttons are more useful, kind of depends on if I am using both hands or just one handed with the pad on the chair's arm.
The F keys- F1 through F10 are direct, F11 and F12 are Fn+F9 or F10. There are only a few other keys that are mapped with the Fn key, Home, End, PrtSc and Ctrl+Alt+Del. There is single Alt and Ctrl keys on the left side, so full typing, as in this message, sometimes requires some thumb yoga.
On the whole like it allot, installation is plug n play on XP, it works well for HTPC use and with SunVox it feels comfortable.

I use a little bluetooth keyboard that's even smaller than my phone. Feel like it sped things up a lot, particularly with some shorcuts added.
