Preferences>MIDI> "timer" and "announce"

Does anyone know what these MIDI input devices do?

It'd be very nice to be able to slave multiple Sunvox instances from a master clock.

You can connect several MIDI keyboards and controllers (with buttons and knobs) to these INPUT slots.
Then, for example, the knobs can be assigned to the module controllers.
But the MIDI clock messages are not supported by SunVox yet.
