Alonetone Nice Soundcloud Alternative...

Gotten to where I hate soundcloud especially now they have switched playback engines. Looked around for an alternative & almost friggin' gave up as so many look & behave like soundcloud. Then I found Alonetone, nice site! Simple with no garbage. Now this is a site to upload music to POINT others to...You won't find a mass of people listening & evaluating your syncopations but you may be surprised. There is some great music there too. I have not yet signed up but have been perusing the sight & listening...Highly recommended.

Made an account. It looks friendly. Kinda wish it supported wav uploads but it's understandable that it doesn't. :B

I always had issues with Soundcloud. Songs would often time out for me, or not load at all, and the whole thing seemed slow and somehow bloat-y. Checking out Alonetone now -- so far it does look good (and responsive).

Yes, like all bigwig sites soundcloud just can't leave well enough alone, change, change & not for the better. Checking out 8-10 others & finally finding alonetone was a relief as most the others were trying to be another soundcloud with a different twist. Looks like alonetone will probably stay the same, which is brilliant. It is just sad there are not anymore sites like them out there.

I got a little newsletter in my e-mail box for a site called Orfium - seems kinda nice. Has some cool features that other sites don't seem to, like making revenue off of remixes.
