pixiVerse - artificial life
Re: pixiVerse - artificial life
Nicer graphics, shorter trails, with cide hints / formula
Re: pixiVerse - artificial life
And now Ladies and Gentlemen, what happens if we constrain this to a reflective sphere?
I present you NanoCosm, a new kind of ALife
Watch the whole thing, its amazing

Thanks for the comment.
Its not running in real time, you can run about 100 - 250 particles realtime with this but it is getting much slower when you use 300 or more since you have to compare each with each other, so this was like1 or 2 frames per second.
Btw its not doing very much just calculates the distance and basically calculates a force from this and updates the speed. The amazing thing is that it behaved like this.
I was hoping for something interesting but this was beyond my imagination.

And I forgot to mention that I changed the colors and contrast afterwards in Alight Motion App.
This was because it gets compressed 4 times when its finally on Youtube, unfirtunately. I have to use larger Pixels for this.

Re: pixiVerse - artificial life
Seems like its forming molecules...
Re: pixiVerse - artificial life
This works better and different than expected, source link is in the description
For some reason most of the color got lost, maybe because if jpeg compression etc
Watch it - its alife. Really. Quite eerie.

Made a new Version with better graphics, used a Z buffer here, and 3 × 3 pixel sprites
but I also used transpareny which I assume does not make sense,
I am not sure how this us interpreted with z buffer
Took hours to calculate each version
