What I'd like to achieve is get sort of inverted compressor - when note plays there is a short delay and then compression kicks in to create a punchy effect. any ideas how to do that in sunvox?

I just automated the volume on this note. The brown 0100 refers to the volume slider of my generator, and the 7000 6000 5000 etc. is the value to set the volume. You can automate any of these values on any generator or effect. So perhaps you can get the sound you want by automating a value within the compressor? Or else automating a low-pass or high-pass filter can give you some punchy sounds.

ha, done by combining two amps, one in inverted phase and two compressors
