I'm thinking about something like in LMMS (free FL Studio clone, very cool). Basically you choose controller and then draw precisely how it should change over time. Sometimes recording is good enough, but when there is important to do precise finetunning or when you have shaky hands (like me sometimes) such editor would be good.
Perhaps for more control it should work based on bezier curves.
And yes, I know you can "code" values in pattern editor, but visual way to do so (beside recording) would be appreciated.

Yes, those are called automation envelopes. I'd love to have that too!Darkhog wrote:I'm thinking about something like in LMMS (free FL Studio clone, very cool). I think, first of all we need the Envelope Generator (Envelopes for any controllers).
Envelopes in the pattern editor - not now. May be in future updates.
Also don't forget about the "Hide/show levels" feature in the Main menu.
