Recording Parameter Values

Loving the new version on iOS! The FM synth sounds beautiful, I love how I can pull some subtle harmonics / intonation drifts out of that thing.

One thing I don't understand - why isn't there a way to enter parameter values by moving the slider? I don't mean realtime recording (which I imagine would take a bit more work) ... why not have a modified edit state where the value of the slider gets entered along with the machine and controller number wherever the cursor is (in renoise, right clicking parameters does exactly this)? One of sunvox's strengths is the nearly unlimited controller automation possibilities, and this would make exploiting this flexibility much more efficient on the ipod touch interface.

Show levels almost does the job, but then I still need to enter the machine number and parameter number. Also, navigating the pattern tends to be a pain because I end up accidentally entering values when I want to move up and down.

Maybe I'm missing an easy solution here? If so, let me know!

I totally agree with you :) Need a better way to record levels.
I will try to implement such method as you describe or something like that.
