Is the sample folder locations hardcoded? (iPad)

Post by Gussifer »

Hi and thanks for a great app.

I'm trying to add instrument folders to;
//root@user-iPad.local./private/var/mobile/Applications/#/Documents/instruments/
The problem is that they don't show.

I noticed that the "8bit_samples" seems to have an alias called "8bit" and I was wondering where you can set these paths?
Adding the samples to the root of "instruments" gets messy really quick.

Also, why are the .xi's in the following location as well?
//root@user-iPad.local./private/var/mobile/Applications/#/isunvox.app

Thanks!

Hello!
There are paths for samples and instruments on iPhone/iPad:
... app documents/instruments/
... app documents/instruments/8bit_samples/
... app documents/instruments/drums/
... app documents/instruments/pads/
Try to check these folders. All default samples must be there.
"app ducuments" is your "//root@user-iPad.local./private/var/mobile/Applications/#/Documents/" probably.
XI-files from //root@user-iPad.local./private/var/mobile/Applications/#/isunvox.app will be copied to //root@user-iPad.local./private/var/mobile/Applications/#/Documents/instruments when you first start the SunVox.
