This is a Project I have been wanting to tackle for some time as I really like SKALE...
Most is testing VST-VSTi in it in a logical manner & making a running list of what is passing...
SKALE is real nice sounding & many top Trackers have used it (Including NightRadio, Who did some nice tunes in it)... I like the Style & the Panels all very classy & the workflow is FAST in it...
No need to make instruments as it loads AKAI & SF2 soundfonts but SF2 does not sound great in it but AKAI is just Wonderful, Hooking this into whatever FX plugs pass there be big sound plus being sample based you have the power of the effect commands at your disposal many of which can be drawn in while the Pattern is running or not using curves so no need for much in the way of typed-in commands & interpolation...
SKALE is picky on plugs but PHRAZOR is not & works right inside SKALE so NOW you got a piano-roll sequencer right inside SKALE that uses it's own plugs in a 'Clip' based environment that is like having a 'MIDI Ableton' at your fingertips...
I was SAD that ImpOSCar would not work in SKALE but works great THROUGH PHRAZOR... In SKALE it would crash when opening the Preset Rollout like such-
But no problems now... Sure PHRAZOR is another thing having to be learned but you can extract it & use in another Sequencer or DAW as well... This is an old free alpha preview that is solid & is better than the official version in that it is PORTABLE where the Official release was system integrated...
SKALE has many cool features Plus you can import various other kinds of Tracker Modules, Render to Separate Tracks if needed even to 32 bit Depth...
Version 0.81 Beta was the last version from 2005 too bad for sure it's like an old Cadillac with just a few dings & a fuel filter issue...
There are a number of places you can get it but mine will have Phrazor & some other plugs & a few AKAI instruments as well...
Plus I have 3 videos I made for the Newbie or a Refresher as there's certainly no 'Ask Video' series on it... So I'll be adding more as I go along... In the meantime here's my present updated list of plugs that have passed muster...
To test I open a plug, make a pattern, save it, close Skale, reopen, open SKM then see if everything sorts out probably 4 out of 5 were failures so this alot of work...

Plus has nice Track Editor for Drawing Curves for most FX-
