MIDI controls with relative knobs

Post by fabio »

Dears,
I have been trying to make the knobs of my akai mpk mini working in relative mode on sunvox, but failing.
I have 2/3 programs on my midi controller and I want to switch between them while playing. But as soon as
one program is selected the knob values reset and the controls in sunvox start from the default values (0 for instance).

does someone has an idea on how this could properly be setup?

Thanks!
Fabio

what is relative mode? this seems specific to the operation of the AKAI hardware. on most MIDI controllers, you set up the knob or button to be a specific MIDI channel & CC# and then that knob always sends 0-127 values. if you set up a mapping with your hardware, say making a knob or slider to be 50-124 values with a logarithmic taper, then try setting it up that way in sunvox instead. those parameters are stored in the module file when you save it.
