Hello - I tried it on an iPad 2 then an iPad 3, both using ios 7.1
In both cases, it makes a lot of noise which changes as I scan one of your example documents, but (a) it makes a lot of noise anyway, even when there's just white paper, (b) it doesn't recognise the black strips above and below, as yours does in your videos; and (c) it doesn't reproduce the sound that is recorded in the image. And when the quality is set to above about 30, it doesn't make any sound at all.
Am I doing something wrong? Or are there bugs?

Only one question: this mode was enabled by default? Or maybe you turned it on accidentally?
