This seems very redundant.

The whole structure of the modular system lets you build whichever mixing system you want, really, between the EQ modules, the Amplifier modules and of course the compressors.

If you have a regular approach, why not just build it into a meta-module and expose the controls that you want in that?

Or you could do what I do, and just map the controls of the modules that you use for mixing to a MIDI controller for hands-on management.

This from Autumncheney might be useful to play with:

I seem to recall he did something similar as a template for a production studio setup but I can't remember what it was called.

here's the latest version of my template: https://git.acheney.xyz/acheney/sunvox- ... ate.sunvox

i've been using an iteration of this template for the past couple of years now. it's pretty cool, it makes mixing way easier for me. there's also a guide to using it on my old github page. it's outdated now, i have to write a new one, but most of it still applies

the only third party metamodule here is fuzion_mixer/logickin's lufs meter, it's a must if you're mixing for loudness. everything else here was made by me; here's a friendly reminder that you can get all of my modules here: https://acheney.xyz/sunvox/modules/

i should note that the template consists almost entirely of metamodules and as such is quite large (1.5 mb) and uses a bit of cpu when idle. it's meant to run on a modern production system like mine, and it'd run much better if only desktop sunvox had multicore support

i hope this helps

p.s., btw using command line git with my gitea repositories is broken atm, i'll get it fixed eventually. because of this the modules in the repo are outdated, so make sure to download them directly from my website (i couldn't push them to the repo from my system)

it features my music, sunvox content, and social media links!
