libsunvox : a lisp wrapper .. and creating new patterns ?

Post by fredokun »

Hello,
I am a recent but avid SunVox user (I own the IOS version) : it is a fantastic tool :good: !
I am working, in my spare time, on a common lisp binding for libsunvox. The objective is to be able to perform some live-coding sound & music using the SunVox engine. I have already wrapped the song playing features but I would like to do more.
And thus I have a feature request ...
While it is possible to create new modules (connect them, etc.), it doesn't seem to be possible to create new patterns. Of course I can prepare
"empty" patterns before live-coding them but it would be great to have more access to patterns like putting/moving them on the timeline programmatically.
Of course, I also wish libsunvox would be open sourced (so I could contribute, maybe...) but I profoundly respect your work and it is by no means a
criticism! If you are interested in looking at the lisp wrapper I have it on gitlab.
Cheers.
