When a pattern has "Turn off all notes at the end" turned off, it would be useful to also not turn off notes at the beginning when the pattern is being played in an endless loop. Maybe this could be a separate option?
See the attachment. If you play the whole song, you hear two sustained notes that run into each other. Upon repeat, you hear a short pause and then the two sustained notes again. If you play any of the patterns on repeat, you only hear single sustained notes, with a short pause between each note.
With this proposal, such a pattern would never have a short pause between notes due to the repeat, whether repeating the single track or repeating the whole project.
Use case number 1: Working on a pattern on repeat, which has some syncopation that relies on a sound continuing to play across the repeat boundary. (Perhaps the pattern is cloned a few times and you are working on the base pattern.)
Use case number 2: App using SunVox library loads a project containing some small patterns that simply play on loop. The app can then manipulate the pattern data as desired and inject its own NOTE_OFF commands into the pattern data as needed.
