control multiple controllers in one module with one multictl

Post by AutumnCheney »

it would be so useful to be able to select more than one controller in the multictl when connected to a single module. it would definitely remove the need for gigantic unnecessary multictl chains

I second this. I was just going to post a question on how to do it but I see we cannot. Yes please implement this. I will add it as a feature request.

if you had a single multictrl controlling multiple sliders on another module, you couldn't have individual quantiztion and interpolation settings for each slider, so you would just have to go back and an another one for each specific slider.

i would think, to maintain backward compat we could still have the old behavior but perhaps we could also have this new functionality with the addition of a new submenu in the multictrl module to handle cases when we want to control multiple params in a single module (i could imagine it similar to the "controllers" sub menu in the metamodule? dunno..

i know i am in the minority on this one, but don't you think that you would rather make your configuration into a metamodule? i mean... there's your separate sub-menu.
