Slice mode for Sampler module
Slice mode for Sampler module
It would be cool if the 128 sample slots could also be slices of a given sample. Not just for chopping breaks and stuff, but also so the sampler can load wavetables
Re: Slice mode for Sampler module
I would love that too actually. I love chopping breaks after all.
Still learning...
Re: Slice mode for Sampler module
Use 9xx & 7xxxx command please.
Re: Slice mode for Sampler module
I'm honestly confused by this. Can you clarify please?
Still learning...
Re: Slice mode for Sampler module
I have experimented a little with sample offsets but it's a very long process to use for fine chopping. A sampler slice mode that displayed the corresponding offsets for slices would be most welcome.
It did only just occur to me that using custom wavetables is already possible with offsets though, thanks for pointing that out!
EDIT: And maybe not... I can't figure out how to loop just a portion of the sample

Re: Slice mode for Sampler module
do you mean display the 7xxxx/9xxxx value for a particular point in the sound? the sampler already can do this, just go into the edit menu and click somewhere on the waveform, the vertical line will go to that point and the numbers will be displayed on the bottom of the line
just make sure you don't have paint mode on for this to work

Re: Slice mode for Sampler module
also, i did make a module that maps offsets of the sample to notes, so you can easily chop breaks or whatever
Re: Slice mode for Sampler module
Hi thanks for the tips Autumn!
Not sure how I missed the values in the sample editor. I'll have a search for the module you mentioned, sounds very useful!
Edit: Found it I think, I'll try it out tonight
