immediately destroy memory allocated in delay buffer when feedback is set to 0

Post by tennisers »

i was messing around with karplus synthesis with the echo effect and one issue that i ran into was that when i had many karplus metamodules playing in a pattern, even if they weren't playing at the same time, this caused the audio to stutter, presumably because the memory allocated for the delay buffer does not get cleaned up quickly enough. this issue did go away when i set the buffer size to 4096, but it would be nice if there was an option to immediately destroy the memory allocated for the delay buffer when feedback is set to 0. attached is the file i was trying this with to demonstrate
