module-specific menus/buttons in metamodule

Post by AutumnCheney » Sun Sep 13, 2020 10:36 pm

here's a feature i think would be useful in some future update (not necessarily 1.9.6):

you know about those special menus in some modules, like the drawn wave editor in the generator modules or the various curve editors? also, the simple visualizers like the harmonics in the spectravoice or the filter viewer in the filter pro?

i would love to have these available in the metamodule. i imagine there could be some kind of special menu to add specific editors/visualizers from different modules. for example, if you're designing a parametric eq with some filter pro modules, being able to see the eq curves without having to open the metamodule would be very useful

i imagine you could also allow adding special module-specific buttons to the metamodule, so you can do things like load curves or open a sample editor at the metamodule

this is just my suggestion; take all the time you need to add it, if you want
