hi all, i have an arturia minilab mkii midi controller with drum pads that i want to use in sunvox. however, if i set them all to channel 2 in the midi control center, they don't do anything in sunvox, even if i set the receiving midi channels to "all" or 2. they only work if i set them to the keyboard's channel, and i would like to keep the signals separate
is there any way i can get this to work? or is this a bug? pls and thx
midi pads in channel 2?

Haven't used MIDI truly in about 20 years, but curious to know if they can be assigned to MIDI channel 10? Usually drums were set up there, but things may have changed. Also, since I don't use MIDI with SunVox, I could probably be all sorts of wrong.

oh, figured it out five minutes after making this post smh
in the sunvox midi settings, where your controller or sound server would be, you have to set the channels to "any" instead of 1 like the default
i'm using jack in the picture, but it should work for any midi server or controller

Re: midi pads in channel 2?
I tried using a Minilab mk1 with Sunvox last week but had the issue of Sunvox freezing and the mouse really lagging while Sunvox was open. It's interesting that the mk2 works, perhaps I was doing something wrong (at least I hope so!), maybe I'll try again tomorrow
