Hi
I have a strange problem - I cannot select ASIO driver in Sunvox. I'm using Asio4all, I tried latest beta and stable 2.14, sunvox is listing it but when I select it, it sill says its using direct sound, and I get distorted sound, typical to buffer being set too low. Buffer size is set to auto, and sample rate is 192000 which is also wrong as my DAC is max 48K. Setting buffer manually to some sensible value doesnt work and I cannot change sample rate.
Asio works fine in other apps.
Any ideas ? I tried resetting config, no change.
Thanks

Re: Cannot select ASIO in sunvox
Please set driver to ASIO and all other settings to AUTO, and show me sunvox_log.txt
Re: Cannot select ASIO in sunvox
Attaching 2 log files, one with everything set to auto, another with ASIO driver set to ASIO4ALL.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Cannot select ASIO in sunvox
Thank you for the logs!
I see at least two solutions.
1.
In the log i see "ASIO Initial sample rate: 8000"
This means that ASIO4ALL chose the default device with a low sample rate (8000Hz). Maybe some Bluetooth device.
Unfortunately, the SunVox can't switch ASIO devices yet.
Try to disable Bluetooth before the SunVox start.
If it doesn't help, try this:
Set Output = FlexASIO instead of ASIO4ALL (auto)

If it doesn't help, try this:
- Install ASIO4ALL v.2.14 with "offline settings" thought the ASIO4ALL installer
- Open ASIO4ALL offline settings app
- Show advanced options
- In the "WDM Device List", drill down by clicking the plus sign
- Turn off any device that only supports 8000 Hz as a sample rate. This must be done for the device child-nodes as well as the top-order nodes.
Set Output = FlexASIO instead of ASIO4ALL (auto)
