Audio preferences locked to 'auto' (not able to select soundcard)

Post by parnarules »

Hi everyone,

Newbie question: I started using SunVox a few days ago (loving it!), followed the installation instructions for Mac OS (Mojave) and everything works as expected expect for the following:

When I go to the main menu > preferences > audio it doesn't let me choose Output, Input or Buffer (in these sections, it is fixed to 'Auto'), it only lets me choose the sample rate. I use an Audient ID14 soundcard and do not have this problem with Reaper or Renoise.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance!

Sorry, but these features are not available in macOS/iOS/Android versions of SunVox
In these systems the SunVox can work only with those devices that are specified in the system settings as the main ones.
For example, if you want to change the output - go to the macOS audio settings and switch it to another audio device.

Thank you so much for your answer and for all your hard work developing and updating this wonderful software. I am so glad I found SunVox and looking forward to exploring it further (just scratched the surface :) )
