Right now in really into playing free improvisation and avant garde music using piano, and I want to record the pieces inside sunvox.

I really love the sound of the default midi piano that's automatically assigned to midi tracks when imported in sunvox, cause I find it alot better than the other piano samples that come with sunvox and the ones online.

I noticed that there's a real cool and interesting sound to it that is fun for me to play with.
But I would like to know is the sound realistic enough compared to the real piano so I can continue to play the same if I use a real piano?

Thanks for your reply. I guess that would be it. But on second inspection, I'm finding that the other sunvox pianos actually do sound better and more realistic. The earbuds I was using must have made me hear differently.

Also I would like to know how does the filter effect work? I was connecting it to a sampler to see if I could do some crazy stuff with vocals, but it doesn't appear to be doing anything different than the sampler would by itself. How should it be connected?

What are you trying to do?
Try different modules, especially the modules from this folder: sunvox/effects

Thank you, they do exactly what I need. I will like to add that the most important feature that sunvox is missing is the overdub feature or cycle recording mode like other daws. That feature allows for faster music production and a more fun experience because it creates opportunities for improvisation. Is there currently an alternative way for sunvox to do something close to this? Or will we have to wait for it in a future update?

Do you have any advice on getting the highest quality and professional vocal sound through the sampler? I'm using a zaxsound external mic to record on android. Here's a link to it below:

Heres a thought, you could load a filter into the sampler if you want to do a specific filter sweep on a vocal sample, but if you want to automate it then you should use a separate module
