Hello all,
new user from the Netherlands with a question:
I use SunVox on a pda (ipaq 3850). Most songs I load stutter/falter when playing.
There is a post on this forum that says to change the frequency, if I try this
(preferences-audio-frequency) it says sampling frequency is auto.
what do I do wrong? Can I change this in the config file?
Thanks!
SunVox stutters on pda
Re: SunVox stutters on pda
It does not sound as if you are doing anything wrong.
You should be able to change the frequency from auto down.
Alternatively, you should be able to render the songs and play the resulting files?

Re: SunVox stutters on pda
If I tap on buffer I get a list of choices, when I tap frequency the only option is auto.
Tried on a htc himalaya: same result.

That may be platform dependent; sorry.
Still, rendering should work, even though it's less immediate.
I'm also interested to hear if you can experiment with increasing sizes and complexities, and find out what your cutoff is?

I used one of the oldest tricks in the book and down graded to an earlier version.
1.7 is the one with the most options and the least problems,
1.5 works nice, I like the old skool llook of it.
Tried on HTC Himalaya (Qtec 9090) and ipag 3850.

I believe it is the problem of the audio buffer size. Please try to test different values in the audio settings. At least it is the case on my old ipaq
