Yeah, Theorize mentioned years ago Protrekkr but it's STILL updated current...Nice it still has the 2 303s & the Csynth just like Arguru had...Like the pattern editor ALOT & it has up to 16 note lanes per track, all internal FX no distraction with VSTs...Runs on ANYTHING...

Present WIP using BOTH 303 banks & Csynth plus many PTI-

I have shared over 1,300 PTI instruments here-

Also IoNeo Aero Studio pretty cool...Uses VSTs plus has internal samplers-FX is combo Tracker-Piano Roll...Draw your automation curves...The piano roll is POLY...

Tune I did in it some years ago-

I have it along with presets & video tutorials HERE-

EvoBeats Sequential Vibes probably the EASIEST Tracker that utilize VST-VSTi-DX-DMO plugs in very nice workflow...

Also another great but RARE one is DreamStation II never publically released dual Tracker-Piano Roll

Has kool features like being able to change status of any plugin...Like from VSTi to VST or DX to DXi

I've been inspired to pick up MilkyTracker lately. I also still need to get more of a handle on LSDj tbh.

Anyway, I mostly used SunVox as my main tracker, but maybe I could get a handle on MilkyTracker for my more sample-based work. Maybe even some chiptune-esque tracks if I feel like it.

I might try klystrack for the interface alone tbh. Mostly because I heard about how intuitive it is and stuff. <3
Still learning...

sunvox has always been my go-to tracker; i have tried out psycle and radium fairly recently, and i found their user experience to be lacking and buggy. i also have experimented with a few other trackers in the past, like protrekkr and famitracker, though nowadays it wouldn't be easy to adjust to their workflow. i just love sunvox's fusion of synthesis and dsp with samples too much

i've been excavating old dos A highlight was a much-overlooked MS-Dos tracker called Velvet Studio. Some unique features including a tool to automate tracking echo and delay, built-in programmmable sample effect editor (destructive).
Also SchismTracker (SDL-based ImpulseTracker clone/reimplementation with AdLib synthesis via ScreamTracker's s3m format

I just wanted to add the dirtywave M8 here as a tracker that some may like. though its mainly available through hardware. but there is a cheaper method which is just buy a teensy and hook it up to a computer via USB and you can get its GUI that way.

I have a teensy just dedicated to it's "headless" mode as much as I think the real device is awesome it's just a bit out of my price range but 30$ for a teensy and the software is free ontop was a easy sell.

Well, for past couple months now using AXS which is an excellent 'sidekick' Tracker. It is VERY GOOD with it's Note Velocity Modulation feature as well as 'Smart Patterns'... Simple to use & looks retro cool...Total directory size ONLY 460 KB with great sounding internal synth...

And ONE important aspect that occured to me last night is that in all this time it has NEVER CRASHED!...That's on XP but runs just fine on windows 10 & it hasn't crashed on that either...

Here is a tune I just finished, ran through trakAx with some panning, volume shaping & whatnot as much as you can do with a uniform stereo file-

Here is the GUI-

But I have made skins for it-

Furnace. It's hands down the ultimate chip emulation tracker. It's a powerhouse. It can use chips from many video game consoles, arcade machines, pc cards. It can mix and match chips (YM2612+SNES+OPL3+GBC? No problem!) It is extremely customizable to the nth degree. It's open source. It's free. It runs on multiple platforms. Etc. See https://github.com/tildearrow/furnace

Sunvox to me is the ultimate modular synth/sampler/DSP tracker however. They are two very different beasts in what they do but these two trackers are my favorites.
