Can anyone shed come light on how "Set Lfo phase" in the Filter Module works, and also how "set Phase" in the LFO module works?
Also how does the "Set Vib. phase" in the flanger work?
I can't hear a difference whenever change this parameter in any of the mentioned modules
But I want to understand it.
Thanks!
Set Phase, Set LFO Phase, Set Vib. Phase, etc.

Re: Set Phase, Set LFO Phase, Set Vib. Phase, etc.
Phase is the offset within the LFO envelope.
For example, if you want to reset LFO to its starting point - just set "Set phase" controller to 0.

Thank,s NightRadio.
Do I have to add some control data to a track in order to hear what the "set phase" parameter does?
Cause so far I will have a track playing, and I will slide the "set phase" parameter in whatever module that is being used on a particular track, but I don't hear any changes being made.
Sorry, I sound confused.

Please show me how you use it
Re: Set Phase, Set LFO Phase, Set Vib. Phase, etc.
Well, I'm on a pocket PC, so I don't have a photos to show you.
And I don't know how to use it, that is what I'm wondering about.
Is it mainly to be used with control data, or should I expect some change of sound while moving the phase parameter in realtime?

Re: Set Phase, Set LFO Phase, Set Vib. Phase, etc.
Of course. But only if LFO power is not zero.or should I expect some change of sound while moving the phase parameter in realtime?
For example. You have a Low pass Filter with LFO power = 256.
Try to move LFO phase controller and you will hear how the sound changes. On phase 192 filter frequency will be zero. And on phase 64 the frequency will be maximal.
Re: Set Phase, Set LFO Phase, Set Vib. Phase, etc.
I tried what you told me. I just used one note in the tracker as an experiment, and I can hear the lfo change while i move the phase parameter, but once i move it it just sounds the same as it did before i moved it.
I hate to be a pain in the ass, but can you tell me which song or simple example you have on Sunvox, so i can look at it, that way ill learn and it will make sense to me.
Thanks NightRadio. I know you must be busy with a lot more important things.

Re: Set Phase, Set LFO Phase, Set Vib. Phase, etc.
Yes and no :) Actually the sound is not the same. You have changed its LFO starting point (starting phase of the sine).but once i move it it just sounds the same as it did before i moved it.
You should use Set LFO Phase controller in one case only - when you need to synchronize LFO with the beginning of some pattern (or some event). In other cases - don't touch this parameter :)
