MIDI files wont load?

Hey, so, in order o bring them up I had to start a new .sunvox session, and then delete the default generator module, create a new one "load synth, etc" but then when I load in my MIDI file SunVox tells me "File format not recognized"? Then proceeds to ask a few questions such as 32 or 16 bit, etc. (I think it's to do with the bit depth quality? Anyhow, it forces me to import the file as, I guess "RAW" it said? I want to just be able to import my .midi song, then start applying various generator modules tot hem, where all my notes/notation should have already been brought in with the default .midi file?

I'm pretty newb, haha, aso any help is appreciated, thanks.

What is your system and SunVox version?
MIDI import is only available in the latest test version 1.7.3 BETA2.
And the correct way to import MIDI is the Main menu -> Load.
Please don't try to load MIDI as module - this is good idea :) but it is not fully implemented yet.

Ah, um, I'm on Mac OSX version 10.6.8.

But I'm on SunVox version 1.7.2.b, apparently. O.o

How would one go about updating, haha.
