The download site says the Windows, Linux and OSX version receivers are not working.
Any idea when this will be fixed?
Also, is it possible to (on any of the platforms including iOS) write the output to mpeg or a TIFF series rather than animated GIF?
If not, would you be willing to add that feature?

Could you add Animated PNG (APNG) export? It does work only on certain browsers, like Firefox or Opera, but it has better quality than GIFs.
Also, AVI export would be nice (with codec dependant on the platform).

Not sure about APNG... But may be in future updates...
It is slightly problematic to do now :) So i hope to implement MJPEG AVI firstAlso, AVI export would be nice (with codec dependant on the platform).

its possible to use ffmpeg so you could use mp4 mpeg mpg avi and so on your app would be great with it think of al those movies online that you could hear
