Copying modules between two running SunVox instances

Post by Lilith »

Hi,

having a strange issue with copying modules, patterns or pattern blocks from the timeline. I have now three instances open while instance 1 is the project I'm working on. The other two instances I opened later and are the default sunvox project. I can copy everything between instance 2 and 3 but not from 1 to 2 or to 3 or the other way around. When I close instance 1 and restart it it's suddenly working but it stops working after a while again.

Any clue what's wrong here? This is on Ubuntustudio 20.04

Please make sure your instances are launched from the same directory in the same way.
Also remember that several SunVox instances will use the same session file - so you can lose some data this way.
Run the SunVox as described below so that different session files are used:
instance 1: ./sunvox
instance 2: ./sunvox -id 1
instance 3: ./sunvox -id 2

Thanks, I was not aware of this. Maybe you can put this in the manual.
