Hi,
First of all, I discovered SunVox a few days ago and I find it amazing. Thanks for the work done.
I have a seemingly random freeze bug, be it with the Linux x86 or the Linux x86 64 version. Sometimes, the whole interface freezes. I can still, for example, play notes, but I can't do much more. It's not just a simple interface freeze, it seems to be more a video freeze as I can't do anything on my Linux desktop. just can open a tty with Ctrl+Alt+Fx.
I use Debian 11 (it may be the problem...).
Tell me what information or logs I can provide for you to figure out what happens.
Thanks
SunVox 1.9.6b freeze

Hi!
What desktop environment do you use?
What graphics card and video drivers?

Re: SunVox 1.9.6b freeze
Thank you!
One more question: do you use SunVox in fullscreen, maximized window, or some small window?
It looks like some bug in the desktop manager or in SDL2 library.
Can you try to to use some other desktop?

Re: SunVox 1.9.6b freeze
Hi, I use it in maximized window.
I tried using it in Enlightenment, as it's the only other desktop manager I have, and it seemed to be okay, but as I said, the freezes are random, so, even if I spend about 4 hours using it without freeze, I can't be sure the issue is not present when I use Enlightenment...
Isn't there a log I could look into after a freeze to have some info about the issue ?

1) You can check the system logs using sudo journalctl or by manual viewing files in /var/logIsn't there a log I could look into after a freeze to have some info about the issue?
2) You also can check /tmp/sunvox_log.txt, but I'm not sure if there will be anything useful there

Re: SunVox 1.9.6b freeze
Unfortunately, this happens sometimes in Linux :( for different reasons...just a small update to tell that SunVox didn't cause the freeze, I just had it without SunVox running
Try to update the video drivers, Linux kernel, motherboard firmware
Good luck with this
