Muting multisynth also mutes next connected module

If I mute a multisynth it also mutes any modules directly connected to that multisynth.

I am using 1.9.6.1 on Android.

An example is attached.

I presume this is a bug and that the expected behaviour is for only the multisynth to be muted.

If it isn't a bug, please consider this a feature request. Example use case for preferred behaviour: feeding a single generator module with multiple multi synths and selectively muting/unmuting the multisynths at different times.
