SunVox doesn't recognize my midi controller

Post by DiscountRachmaninoff »

Hi,

I've plugged in my LK-300TV midi keyboard and Windows recognizes it but SunVox doesn't. The 4 midi controllers in the preferences->MIDI section shows as "None". How can I solve this?

Thanks in advance. Also thanks for making this beautiful piece of software, I'm very eager to learn it.

The 4 midi controllers in the preferences->MIDI section shows as "None"
So the device lists are completely empty?

Yes, my OS is Win 10 x64 btw

Edit: I've also tried my keyboard with Reaper and Reaper recognizes it without any problems. This might be a problem within SunVox. I can share any logs you want

Yes please.
First try to open SunVox, turn off and turn on the MIDI controller.
Then check the list of MIDI devices again (click on the MIDI controller 1).
If it still empty - go to the Main tab -> Log -> Save log

Sorry for the late reply.
I can't figure out why it doesn't work yet :( Usually, if the MIDI device is recognized by Windows, it should work in SunVox as well, because I only use the standard MIDI API.
Maybe something with the drivers...

Yes! Apparently, I forgot to install casio drivers on my new machine, my bad. It's working now, I should have noticed this earlier.
