Pressing Esc closes parent menu instead of active menu

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Preferences
2. Activate the Interface section on the left
3. Select 'Scale'
4. Press the Esc key on the keyboard to close the 'Set UI scale' subwindow
Result:
The main Preferences parent window closes instead leaving the child window visible
