1.7.5b1 - Input module clicking [FIXED 02.06.14]

Hi,

In the new beta, the Input module produces a fast and steady clicking, a bit like the sound of an old film reel being played. It goes up and down in volume with the volume slider and actual audio input can still be heard through it. This is the same with any input source. The clicking can change in volume or tone when opening or closing menus or changing some visual element. It seems to stay at approximately 646 bpm. Sometimes Sunvox crashes upon loading or using the Input module. In Audacity the input sources are clean. I'm on Windows 7.
Hope this is useful.

And congratulations on the amazing Pitch Shifter!

Hi!
Can you confirm that there is no such problem in v1.7.4b?
If so, please tell me your sound configuration: driver, buffer size. And please check that this configuration is the same in BETA1.

Indeed, no problem in v1.7.4b. All audio preferences are the same, set to Auto and listed as DirectSound, 44100 Hz, 4096, 92 ms.

The frequency goes up for increasingly short buffer sizes, the clicking stops at 29 ms but there's still a very distinct 'buffer override' ('retrigger' or 'freeze') effect on the incoming signal. At 11 ms and shorter no signal goes through at all. Changing drivers has no effect.
