fm8 waveforms + sunvox metamodule

Post by AutumnCheney »

hi, so i decided to record all of the waveforms from native instruments fm8 into lmms, export them, and create a wavetable-style metamodule with those waveforms. just change the "waveform" controller to change the wave. it uses a network of multictls to change the volumes on the samplers, each with a special curve generated by a modified version of the sunvox curve generator pixilang program. i'll attach that to the post

here is the module:

do keep in mind that it is very cpu-inefficient (it's basically 32 samplers running at once), but i'll experiment with a different approach at some point. the note also runs forever even after you release the note, so you'll have to use an adsr module or something if you want an envelope

if you don't use sunvox, i also have all the waveforms saved as .wav files, so you can load them into your favorite sampler or wavetable synth

let me know whether they work with your synth or not pls

i hope you'll find these useful!
