Unison effect with detune and stereo spread

Post by CoryCulley »

Updated. This effect is intended to be used after a sound source.

This is an attempt at a post processing Unison effect.
The original module used pitch shifters for detuning which destroys the signal quite a bit. So for this effect, one of the signals is dry, the other 6 signals are slightly delayed at different intervals, and slightly phase modulated with LFOs at different rates and amplitudes. Every other signal is also inverted. This provides a nice, rich stero unison effect that tries to avoid phase cancellation and flanging. Tested with the Analog Generator, it plays nice with the various waveforms and Generator's built in filter. You can even use the Analog Generator's built in Freq2 parameter for essentially a 14 voice Unison.

Supersaws, Supersquares, Superdrawn waveforms etc can all be done easily with this simple effect. With a LP filter and reverb, you can have lush pads quickly.

You may modify it, use in commercial works, copy it, share it, etc.
