UPDATE 2022/2023: this module as posted here is out of date, please go to my github repo to get the latest version of this module: https://github.com/autumncheney/sunvox-modules

hi!

this is a powerful module for generating cool analog sound effects, heavily inspired by the ems synthi aks

it comes with two oscillators, each with a dedicated fm and rm oscillator, as well as a lfo filter and reverb. you can turn on the oscillators and adjust their pitch with the pitch sliders, or you can input notes to oscillator 1 when the module's input is set to 1. you can also send external audio into it when the input module is set to 2.

this uses the ctl2note module, so all of the oscillators can run by themselves without any external note input

this is a synth that requires a lot of experimentation, but once you master it, you can use it for wild sci-fi synth sound effects and ambient drones. pro tip: use the "randomize all" feature on the controllers to easily generate new sounds (though, keep your hand on the volume knob, it can get loud)

as always, it's licensed under the mit license. you don't have to credit me if you're just using it in a song

i hope you enjoy it!

i updated the module!

i decided to make it so that the oscillators turn on when you send a note in, and turn off when no notes are being sent. this should be a lot easier than having to set the controllers in a pattern to make it turn on or off.
