After Vox 303 the Bass Synth, today I am going to present the Vox NOT-09:
This drum kit was made when I was learning to make some 909-ish drum sounds.
Despite the original 909 used samples for the cymbals, I made an attempts to create them only using generators and modulators.
The cymbals are nothing sound like the original (this is why the name of this drum synth called NOT-09 instead of 909),
but it should be good enough for some applications.
Vox NOT-09 features:
- 11 Percussions: kick, snare, toms(L,M,H), high hats, ride, crash, rim and clap
- High hats chokes (Open high hat stop immediately when a close high hat plays)
- Velocity sensitive
- Separated kick drums to left channel from other percussion to right channel, no quality reduction since all the sound are mono initially
- Options for further shaping the percussion
