The hits themselves haven't exactly been tweaked to absolute perfection (though I did choose the hits I liked and usually use), but the basic idea behind this is to end up with one simple playable kit from C5 to B5. No jumping around the keyboard from the kick you like in this octave to the snare you like in that octave. And also included are some simple toms made from pitching up the kicks. And a closed and open hi hat from the same key, but spread across 2 keys for play-ability.
Think of it as a template or an idea, or if you like it just a playable kit. It makes ample use of multi-synths to align the keys. If you go in to edit the module, I use a different layer for each drum, and a floating multisynth on the bottom layer to bind everything together.
