SID-like pulse-width modulation:
Create a distortion module. Set the Bitrate to 1.
Create two generators, set them both to square waveforms. Make sure they are the same volume or this won't work. Wire up the generators to the distortion. Double-click one of the generators and change the finetune value. The larger the difference between the pitch of the generators, the faster the pulse-width changes.
Create a MultiSynth and wire it up to the Generators. You should now have pulse-width modulation when you play using the MultiSynth :).

You can also get different sounds from changing the generator waveforms, although not all combinations work.

I have a few of my own sample packs at the bottom of my music page. The Yamaha DTXplorer drums sample pack is probably the most useful one. They may need cropping, as some of them have a little bit of silence at the beginning.

Other useful sample-related pages I know of:

Synth modules for my basic electro ;)
Here's how to make it:
1. Load the modules in SunVox.
2. Connect the Spectravoice and the FM to the Distortion (one module of each)
3. When you enter the notes into your tracker, enter in two octaves of the FM (one at octave 2 and one at octave 3), and two octaves of the Spectravoice (one at octave 1 and one at octave 2). Your setup should look like this:
http://s776.photobucket.com/albums/yy49 ... osetup.jpg

-Distortion:

-FM:
http://www.mediafire.com/?h342861a7cuda8p
-Spectravoice:
http://www.mediafire.com/?d67x6zqdn781ncc

If you can't download the modules for some reason, here are the settings for the modules:
Distortion:
-Volume: 256 (8000)
-Type: 1(1)
-Power: 245 (7a80)
-Bitrate: 16 (10)
-Freq (Hz): 44100 (8000)
-Noise: 0

FM:
-C. Volume: 99 (3180)
-M. Volume: 18 (900)
-Panning: 125 (3e80)<---this should actually be 128 (4000)
-C. Freq mul: 1 (800)
-M. Freq mul: 1 (800)
-M. Feedback: 72 (2400)
-C. Attack: 0

-M. Attack: 0
-M. Decay: 0
-M. Sustain: 128 (4000)
-M. Release: 0
-M. Scaling: 1 (2000)
-Polyphony (ch.): 16 (10)
-Mode (HQ/HQmono/LQ/LQmono): 0

Spectravoice:
-Volume: 92 (2e00)
-Panning: 128 (4000)
-Attack: 10 (280)
-Release: 0
-Polyphony (ch.): 8 (8)
-Mode (HQ/HQmono/LQ/LQmono/Cubic): 4 (4)
-Sustain (off/on): 1 (1)
-Sample size: 1 (1)
-Harmonic: 0
-h. freq (Hz): 1098 (44a)
-h. volume: 255 (ff)

if you set relative note on spectravoice to -8, then link multisynth to both, you only need 2 note values :D

A cool arrangement I stumbled upon in one of my songs:

Generator, square wave, duty cycle at around 2800-ish, doesn't really matter.
Running into a reverb module, 0 dry mix, adjust wet mix to appropriate volume. 0 feedback, 100% damp, 100% width. Others at default levels.
Reverb into distortion, default parameters, but power turned up to 6800-ish, also doesn't really matter, whatever suits you.

It just sounds cool, sorta like an electric guitar. The 0% dry mix is the key here I think.

To make a stab bass in sunvox:

Make a saw module. Attach it to a reverb. keep the dry at maximum, crank up the wet to around 6300 (in hex), decrease the width to about half (to keep reverb from going apesh*t). Attach the reverb to a filter. Use these settings for your filter (I'm listing the ones you have to change from default)
Frequency: 712 (682)
Resonance: 1345 (7085)
Mix: 157 (4e80)
Lfo freq: 0

Now take that and attach it to a distortion with these settings:
Volume: 148 (4000)
Type: 1 (1)
Power: 238 (7700)
Keep bitrate and Freq (Hz) at max
Noise: 0

Enjoy your new stab bass. Best played on the low end in octaves 0 and 1. ;)

Spectravoice Snare/Clap (settings requested by SolarLune)

Note: Only the changed settings are shown below. All other controllers in the modules are at their default values.

Requires:
Spectravoice
Distortion

Spectravoice settings:
Attack: 0
Release: 34 (880)
Sustain: 0 (off)
h. freq: 902 (386)
h. bandwidth: 192 (c0)
h. bandtype: 3 (3)

Distortion settings:
Volume: 80 (2800)
Power: 240 (7800)
Noise: 256 (8000)

Play it at 4th or 5th octave and cut it off immediately after it is played.
This setup should look like this in your tracker (C4 is used only as an example note):

C4
==

Works best if used with a Compressor, as it doesn't sound exactly like a snare/clap, but the release is what makes the sound.

I took the SGM soundfont(a nice General Midi soundfont)and ripped the instruments into XI instruments. Not very good, but gave me some material to work with until I can actually use soundfonts in SunVox. Figured I'd share for those interested.

I believe this is an at least partially rescued archive of the stuff that was on this broken site:

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/mi6w7l3liyrr ... 9vzCD1/ft2

Anyway, interesting range of XI instruments here, all sorts..

*edit* There's always sampleradar too: http://www.musicradar.com/news/tech/sam ... ads-217833

Stoopid amounts of stuff, some nice drum kits too.
