I gotta say, there are quite a number of pleasing entries this year! Being the system it is, SunVox often caters to a quite... experimental style of composition, so my high votes always go to those who can compose works that are actually catchy, melodic, and enjoyable to listen to. I particularly liked scorpionfly's two submissions this year. Very nice.

I read over the breakdown. I appreciate the warm review! And somehow, according to AutumnCheney, I outscored SawZer?? I thought that was nigh-on impossible!

Yay! I wasn't last! Best result I could hope for!

I really am in awe of how good some of these entries are. This is the first year I've known so many entries to include vocals, too.

I'm much the same here. I tend to find the ones that get carried away with the distortion and forget to have a tune a little off-putting, and an entry will always score badly from me if it threatens to break my speakers - or my ears.

Not the works themselves, but those who can... I've proven myself, haven't I? So I can always count on your high votes, no matter what sort of absurd experimental nonsense I pull out of my butt and smear into the crevices of the pattern editor, and press on a bit so that it curls up and sticks to the undersides of little lips that would be too much of a hassle to ever clean out?

Har har har. Sorry, I should have been more clear. My high votes usually go to those who produce catchy, melodic tunes for the compo at hand.

Ah, melodic tunes plural, as in a single catchy and melodic entry to the current compo isn't enough, understood! [Representation of human facial expression]

Should have submitted something for this! These entries were SO GOOD. But I just couldn't figure out how to compress them less than 64 kb... aw well.
Event Horizon is an absolute BANGER of a track. sk0 = MVP
Congrats, everyone! :Bravo:
