Hello all, SawZer here (AKA Chippymunk). Since The Handle isn't organized enough to start a compo, and since organic io asked me to, here are the details for the next compo...

RESULTS:
-First place (16 points): ACADBALLA - Sum Diminished Contest

-Third place (10 points): Walking Encyclopedia - Micromini
-Fourth place (9 points): Nak-Ed - Electo Sh*t
-Fifth place (5 points): Nak-Ed - Open The Box

RULES:
-No more than 10 modules (NOT including OUT, so 10 modules + OUT is perfectly fine)
-No Samplers are allowed. Period.
-No Vorbis players are allowed. Period.
-No more than 8 tracks can play simultaneously (Single pattern is recommended)
-The track may NOT clip more than once (When voting, please consider the loudness of the track)
-Minimum track length of 2:30 minutes
-Maximum track length of 4:00 minutes
-Only ONE compessor allowed

But one request: Can you change the format of my email address in your post to "organicio (at) gmail (dot) com" ??? That way any automated web crawling robots don't get hold of my primary email address and start offering me ATM cards with $2,000,000 just like beefinator gets I have a separate address for all those completely legitimate offers. I wonder why I just got a phone call from the FBI though???

It's no problem. Spam is unavoidable, but I try to reduce it as much as possible.

I put a message on the Soundcloud Sunvox users group earlier, and I just emailed Alex to see if he will mention it on the warmplace.ru homepage.

I might enter, I've got thanksgiving vacation next week, so lots of time. Though I'm disappointed the handle never gave super specific info regarding the minimalist compo, my minimal 2 square wave, 2 channel song is turning out awesome.

A whole week? Is that off from school? When I was in school, we only ever got Thursday & Friday for Thanksgiving. Now with a fulltime job, it's just Thursday and sometimes Friday if I beg and plead.

And hey, at least you can post your minimal song on Soundcloud if nothing else. Looking forward to hearing it.

Tonight I made some artwork for the compo.

Maybe I went a little crazy? I don't know It was fun to make though, connecting the modules together to make a design was fun.
