sundog gui examples request of

Post by michikaze » Wed Jan 30, 2013 2:14 pm

I want to create a simple game using sundog lib (not sure if this is a good idea or not). Would you please write a few examples for it, especially for gui making. I want to make simple text editor + drawing tool with it (part of the game, yes).
Also, what text editor/ide are you using/can recommend?
Also, spam. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=106
Oh, and also also, how to switch to fullscreen with it?

Sorry for delay with answer.

Unfortunately right now i can't help you with sundog example due to lack of free time. May be the best way to you is to use Pixilang programming language? It is SunDog based tool for graphics/sound applications.
Also, what text editor/ide are you using/can recommend?
I use Kate and built-in MidnightCommander text editor.
how to switch to fullscreen with it?
Use fullscreen key in the configuration file. But right now it is only available for DirectDraw and SDL versions.

С++ is more comfortable than pure C. I use some syntax features from C++.
Why i don't use C++ classes? Because the SunDog engine is still compatible with PalmOS. But there is no full featured C++ compiler for ARM PalmOS devices.
