On a whim today I did a search for audio/recording schools and came across this. It sounds like a really sweet deal - They have an agreement with loads of actual Recording studios around the US. You actually go and study under an audio professional for about 6 months, visiting the studio 2-5 times per week. The site says 70% of their students get a job in the recording industry straight away.

Tuition is only about $8000, which is very reasonable for this type of thing.

It may be a great opportunity for the younger folks out there. I wish I had known about this 12 years ago! (I'm 30 now)

But hey, I may still do this some day!
