How does the converters work. No information about the syntax?
When I try to make one of my own files MOD2PDB <filename> i get a PDB file but when I hotsync the file I get the message Invalid PDB file.
I also need to convert it back again later but then I get an empty MOD file also that I have tryed to convert the embedded XMODUL5.PDB.
How do I convert in both ways?

Sorry.. ) I forgot to document it in the new PsyTexx.
Just put the MOD2PDB or PDB2MOD programs to the folder with your MOD/PDB files and run it.
For PDB2MOD : you can use PDB's dowloaded from Palm only. If you don't know how to download it, install BACKUP.PDB file and then find it in your PALM/ directory on PC (after synchronising). Your latest playing MOD was saved to BACKUP.PDB after PsyTexx close.

What is the format of the converted mod formats? Can you provide a source code of the converter, so someone can write a Linux port of it?

It is here: http://warmplace.ru/soft/palm/psytexx2/ ... pdb.tar.gz
But i'm not sure why do you want it now :) You can use the SD-card without any converters...
