Here is what I'd like to do: I want to create an instrument (Generator) whose every note, when triggered, starts without vibrato and, after a second or so, the vibrato appears and (during another 2 seconds) vibrato amplitude gradually rises to some specific (constant) level. When the note is released, the playing tone should immediately stop (i.e. the generator's sustain is ON). All of this should happen automatically, without any "vibrato" effects (04) in the instrument's track, even for note played live using MIDI.
I thought the correct way to do this is using metamodules with vibrato being gradually changed using effect in metamodule pattern. However, I found out that changing vibrato amplitude in this way results in unpleasant cracking noise.
How can this be done in Sunvox? Delayed vibrato is fairly common synth feature.
Gradual vibrato for every note?
Re: Gradual vibrato for every note?
There's no way yet to do this fully polyphonically.
Vibrato std effect, Vibrato module or an LFO signal into the Generator for freq modulation.
For the timing aspect either pattern automation (in a MM) or some kind of envelope (from a synth or sampler) Snd2Ctling the amplitude.
Check this thread for some ideas.
