supersimple feature request: dry-fader on compressor

The compressor introduces a small signal latency, which makes it hard to do parallel compression.
(Just adding the dry signal to the compressor output causes phase-artifacts)

Solution: put a 'dry' slider on the compressor to mix-in some dry-signal into the wet

Parallel/bus compression is great to emphasize peaks in compressed signals.

Just a thought: If this Dry controller could go both ways—adding or subtracting the dry signal without latency—it could also be used to get the gating behaviour that has been made into a few MetaModules. Alternatively 'Gate' could be a third Mode or perhaps even a new Gate Module with similar visuals.

Can't you do this by just:

Input -> Compressor -> output
\--> Dry ----------------/^

And just multictl the dry and wet to the volumes to make it easier. This should do it right?

unfortunately not, that's why i mentioned the phasing artifacts.
it IS possible by adding a 2nd compressor (100% dry, 0% wet) but thats a waste of cpu imho.

just apply a 1ms delay to dry chain... Problem solved
