hello!
i'm using sunvox in my ipod touch and computer.. and i love it very much! )
but when I export a pattern to midi, and I want to import in other DAW like renoise or ableton live... the clips are offnote or in other time signature.
for example; I did a 64 step pattern in sunvox.. with a 4/4 beat and the song properties are 190bpm and 8 ticks per line.
I open renoise and load the midi... but in a pattern of 64 lines the notes are in different positions and plenty of silence at the end
the same with ableton live
I don't know what I'm doing wrong :/
any advice?
thank you
(sorry for my poor english)

Re: MIDI Export problem
It has to do with the ticks-
as you have the setting at 8 instead of 6 it will mess with the tempo.... (6 being the default)
So you have to recalculate the tempo...
If the tempo is 120 bpm and you double the ticks settting to 12 the real bpm will change to 60 bpm. or if you change to 3 ticks it will change to 240 bpm.
So if you have 8 ticks guess you would have to bring out the calculator!

ok... I try to export the same pattern but this time set to 6 ticks per line ...import to renoise with 6 ticks too and the same bpm of the original file, but the same result.samrai katt kovboy wrote:It has to do with the ticks-

if I export a simple 4/4 beat in 64 step, renoise show in 64 steps but the last kick is not in line 60, is in line 54 :/
