Win32 bug(?)

I turned off the virtual keyboard and restarted Sunvox but it's still there...

Unless I misunderstood the virtual keyboard to be something other than this: Image

Are you serious?

That is going to require precise timing and trial and error to do something that should be easy.

Why not just make the "knife" position wherever the pattern is highlighted when not playing? :unknown:

Nevermind, I see that you can move the playing position in the timeline editor even while playback is stopped. Still seems a bit cumbersome but not too terrible

Confirmed I still can't get virtual keyboard to go away on WinCE

I tried editing the .ini file on WinCE and Win32 both, to no avail.

I also noticed though that both of these pop up in the ini at different times:

hide_virt_kbd
show_virt_kbd

Seems confusing since they are opposites, especially since I can't get them to change anything in the program...

I tried parameters 0, 1, 2 on both of them and still couldn't get them to do anything

Confirmed, even with the ability to move the "knife" position on the timeline, in WinCE it is a pain with my stylus, I made a pattern that was 128 lines long and tried to cut it at 64 but after about 1 minute of fiddling with it I still could not get my knife position at 64, it would always be like 62 or 70

Also, suggestion: When the virtual keyboard is hidden, could you add a box somewhere that just displays on screen which octave has been selected?

About the keyboard - i mean the text qwerty keyboard :)
As for the knife position - i will try to replace it by something more precise.

It would be cool if you could double-click to slice a pattern. Perhaps adhering to the "Snap to Grid" functionality, as well (so that you don't end up slicing a pattern at line 15 instead of line 16)? The 'slice to playhead' method would probably work fine if there was some way to precisely move the playhead (maybe with the arrow keys).

Anyway, nice job, NightRadio!

Where does that actually show up on the screen??? I can't figure it out.

P.S... any way you would consider an option to disable the music keyboard too?

The selected line in the pattern editor may be more precise for the knife position ?

In the mobile version try to click on any text field.

May be :) Never think about this. Do you think it is really necessary feature? At least on mobile version with the small screen you can't write the music without this keyboard.

I think this may be an additional feature. One knife in the Timeilne, and other in Pattern Editor.

Well... Mobile for me is the Mobilepro which has a 8 inch screen. So I would say if I'm in a minority of users who would want to disable it, don't worry about it. :) Especially since the majority of mobile devices these days are touchscreen only with no keyboard input, it makes sense to have the onscreen music keyboard, definitely
