MetaModule Can't Accept Multiple Notes [FIXED 02.07.15]
MetaModule Can't Accept Multiple Notes [FIXED 02.07.15]
Hey, there. So basically, if you have a meta module set to play song, you can't really play more than one note at a time - the other notes get cut off by the last played one. It's only possible to play a chord if you hit all notes at the exact same time. It'd be nice if this was fixed. Perhaps an option could be given for this (where any note input plays the module, or it only begins playing on a new note command).

Will be fixed in 1.9 BETA2
Re: MetaModule Can't Accept Multiple Notes [FIXED 02.07.15]
I think I'm still seeing this bug - in my setup, I have the input module going nowhere because the pattern makes sound (so the input is just being used to send note data and trigger the module). Any ideas?

Hm... Can't reproduce it Can you send me the example?

Hey, sorry for getting back to you so late. Here's a bug file. I think the bug's that basically, a Metamodule can only be triggered by one note at a time if it's set to play a pattern.

EDIT: The problem in the example file is that one of the two notes being played in the pattern is completely skipped over.

Re: MetaModule Can't Accept Multiple Notes [FIXED 02.07.15]
Ok, thank you!
This is not the same module usage like in your first message.
There are two ways to play some generator in the MetaModule:
1) set Input Module controller to play some selected module inside of the MetaModule;
2) set Play Patterns controller and play the whole SunVox project (with patterns) inside of the MetaModule.
Polyphony is possible in the first way, because it can be handled by the selected module directly. Here was a bug described in your first message - it is fixed now.
Polyphony is not possible in the second way, because we need a separate copy of the MetaModule for each polyphony channel. This is not a bug. But i think i can implement this type of polyphony in future SunVox updates.
